Windows 7: Are you ready to make the jump?

Windows 7 releases October 22nd, after months, even years of anticipation.  Microsoft's previous Windows release, Windows Vista, was a qualified disaster in the commercial market, with numerous complaints from users and administrators alike.  Microsoft, as well as many of the beta testers that have been using Windows 7 for the last several months, claim that many, if not all, of those issues have been resolved, and that companies that have been reluctant to use Vista because of its incompatibility issues, should give it another look.

Fair enough.  Any new software upgrade is worth a look, but hopefully, you don't just jump in without doing some testing and research.  Every company is somewhat different because of the differing applications that they use, and because of that, it's imperative that all of the software companies that you deal with be contacted to confirm their product's compatibility with Windows 7.  We are telling all of our customers to make those phone calls and let us work with them on testing to insure that they get not only the new features and benefits of Windows 7, but that their existing application continue to work as well.
